Policy Advisor

Godwin Paul Adams is a policy advisor in IISD's Energy Program.

Before joining IISD, Godwin worked with Transitions Research focusing on decentralized energy systems and decarbonization pathways to net-zero cities. As an energy consultant at the Global Green Growth Institute, he developed policy-linked energy models for low-emission pathways and assessed the co-benefits of green growth policies and sustainable development goals.

Godwin holds a master's degree in energy and sustainability from the University of Southampton and is an expert in energy equity, just transition, and climate resilience.
